Filmmaker and children’s book author Liv Sandberg from Bergen is dead, 97 years old.
Sandberg died on November 20, the family informs NTB.
Liv Sandberg was born in Bergen and was both a film director, screenwriter, film editor, children’s book author and playwright.
She was the creator of the children’s TV series “Two houses close together” which was broadcast on NRK in the 1980s and for many other children’s films, including “Gråpus som forsvant” (1954), which became one of the first Norwegian short films for children.

Together with her husband Håkon and brother-in-law Sverre Sandberg, she founded the company Svekon film in Bergen, made a large number of documentaries and short films for children, and wrote a number of children’s books.
